What can you tell me about Beth Gardner’s personal life?
Bethany “Beth” Gardner has been with Family Medicine Healthcare for 3 years. She is one of our nurses and works with all of our doctors and our Physician Assistant. Beth also administers our in-house allergy testing. Beth is known around the office for her attention to detail and meticulous work.
Her greatest accomplishment was making it through nursing school. She graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences before moving to Hampton Roads. Nursing school was one of the most challenging things she had ever done! She is passionate about ensuring her patients receive high-quality care and feel the “personal touch” often missed in today’s busy healthcare system. She believes that everyone deserves to be treated as an individual, not just a number, which is easier to achieve at a private medical practice like Family Medicine Healthcare.
Her fiancé, Marcus, and she own a home in Norfolk and are a proud military family. Marcus has been on four deployments. She is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, but moved here four years ago when Marcus was re-stationed. They have two huskies: Lilly, who is one year old, and Max, who is five years old.
She greatly respects military families, especially now that she is part of one and can understand the commitment it takes. She admires and appreciates the work of non-profit military organizations like Wounded Warriors and Operation Homefront, which support troops and families.
In another life, she would be a flamingo – tall, skinny, and able to hang out on a warm beach all day! If she ever played hooky, you could find her with Marcus and the two huskies on a beach somewhere!
