Kristin Ramsey, DO at Family Medicine Healthcare in Chesapeake, VA

Dr. Ramsey graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2011 at the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Danville Regional Medical Center in 2024 and in her final year of residency was the Chief Resident. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. She is affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Medical Society of Virginia.

Dr Ramsey has a special interest in women’s and children’s care, including adolescents. She also performs Osteopathic Manual Therapy, including muscle energy and myofascial therapy.

She truly loves being a Family Physician because she gets to see patients not only on their best days, but also on their worst days. Her goal is always to find the source of their discomfort and not the symptom. Nothing pleases Dr Ramsey more than to see her patients getting well and staying well – she wants you to Live better, not just get better.

Dr Ramsey has a true passion for not only treating her patients but also connecting with them. This is what keeps them coming back.
