Meet Samir Abdelshaheed, MD:
As a husband and father of five (all under the ages of 12), Dr Abdelshaheed understands the joys and demands of family life and feels called to care for his patients as participants in this unique circle, not names at the top of the chart.
Dr. Abdelshaheed, has operated and been the primary physician of Family Medicine Healthcare since 2004, excited to provide both personal and preventative care to patients with whom he builds lifelong relationships.
He demonstrates the FMH difference every day by listening, educating and responding to the ongoing health and wellness needs of his patients.

Meet Kristen A. Reineke-Piper, MD:
An Air Force veteran and married mother of two, Dr. Reineke-Piper joined FMH in 2017. She relocated from the Saint Louis University and Scott AFB Family Medicine Residency Program in Illinois, where she was a Family Medicine Faculty Physician who taught both civilian and military medical students and residents while working in a full-scope medical practice.
Ask her what she loves about being a doctor, and Dr. Reineke-Piper has a one-word answer: Everything. She chose family medicine for its diversity of cases and is committed to spending the time to truly get to know each of her patients.
Like all physicians at FMH, Dr. Reineke-Piper believes the best results come with good listening and careful explanation of all care decisions. An outdoor enthusiast, she is happy when her patients also can lead healthy and active lives!

What you may not know about Dr. Reineke-Piper:
She is an Air Force veteran whose service included a 7-month deployment in 2015 as a Hospitalist in Afghanistan, where she handled inpatient, outpatient, trauma and intensive care cases. She is married to a veterinarian and has a young daughter and son and two Golden retrievers, one a rescue dog. She loves family time and going to the beach and pool; she also enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding.
Meet Kristin Ramsey, DO:
Dr Ramsey has a special interest in women’s and children’s care, including adolescents. She also performs Osteopathic Manual Therapy, including muscle energy and myofascial therapy.
She truly loves being a Family Physician because she gets to see patients not only on their best days, but also on their worst days. Her goal is always to find the source of their discomfort and not the symptom. Nothing pleases Dr Ramsey more than to see her patients getting well and staying well – she wants you to Live better, not just get better.
Dr Ramsey has a true passion to not only treat her patients but connect with them. This is what keeps them coming back..

Meet Joseph Hollis, MD:
Dr. Joseph Hollis graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 1969. Dr. Hollis is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He specializes in gastroenterology, internal medicine in Portsmouth, Virginia. He relocated to Family Medicine Healthcare the Summer of 2016 and continues to see his patients in our location. Dr Hollis cares deeply about his patients and is known for his sense of humor – he wants you to Live better, not just get better.
